The Festa do Meixón (elver festival) began in Tui in 1968, a time of great dynamism for the city, coinciding with the completion of the Cathedral’s construction and the opening of the Parador de Turismo (state-run hotel).
From Wednesday, April 1st to Monday, April 13th, six restaurants in Tui will celebrate a gastronomic festival dedicated to elvers, offering portions for €85, with prior reservation.
