Melgaço Sparkling Wine Fair 2026

The Festa do Espumante de Melgaço held its first edition in 2015. Since then, it has helped strengthen the identity of Monção & Melgaço as a wine region of excellence, shaped by unique natural and human conditions: soil, microclimate, and know-how.

As originally envisioned, its purpose is not only to promote sparkling wine and local products, but also to reinforce Monção & Melgaço’s identity as a wine region of excellence, while enhancing the territory through an integrated tourism offer in which wine tourism, rural tourism, adventure sports, cultural and landscape heritage, hospitality, and gastronomy play a driving role.
